Pop, I know people are grieving and sad over losing you but I won't and I wish they wouldn't either because you are not "lost" or "gone." You will forever live by our sides, watching over us, and we will see you again someday. I know you're waiting for us, happy and healthy and safe, living your next great adventure that I look forward to hearing about someday. For now though, I'll continue to see you in my dreams. We love you.

Grandpa your are honestly the best grandfather I could ever ask for. You my life pretty cool to be honest, because if it wasn't for you I would never be into motorcycle's or racing. If i ever had a bad day all i had to do was call you and you would always turn that bad day upside down. You have always inspired me to not make bad choices and for that i will always look up to you as my hero.
Please watch over are family. We all love you dearly and miss you very much.

The day has approached we say goodbye to one of the most amazing men I know. The one thing that helps me through this pain is knowing you're not suffering anymore. The one thing that can't be taken away from me is the memories. Lloyd Was a great husband, father and Grandfather and of course Uncle. You devoted your life to family, one of the most hardworking men I know that i so respected so much, you were a great role model.I'll always remember that smirk when he was thinking something funny. Until we meet again Uncle Lloyd I will cherish the time we had with you

It hurts so much to say so long for now to someone you love, honor, and respect. Such is the case with our dear Lloyd. To Jay and I he not only was an Uncle, but a role model and close friend as well. We always knew Lloyd would be there for us to help with whatever we needed, whenever we needed it. He was the most kind hearted person you could ever be lucky enough to meet. I have known him for almost all of my life, and I can't think of a single burst of anger or a rude comment, or even just a foul mood ever coming from him. He only showed love, caring, and patience. Jay and I will keep every single memory (and those are countless), of all the fun we shared, and all the good advice we gained, deep in our hearts, and we'll always be thankful for the time we had together.

Lloyd was a good friend. We worked together for 25 years at the Lily Tulip Cup Plant on Iowa Ave. in Riverside. We shot a few games of pool and drowned a few sorrows and celebrated a few wins. My prayers are with the Family. Lloyd was a good family man. John Dunlap(Riverside)

Pop, I know the last year was very painful for you and all of our family. As with everything you have always done, you took the fight head on. You are the toughest man I have ever known. You will always be my mentor. I will always take pride in all that you have taught me. I will share my favorite Pop quote, "when life gets tough, you have to build a bridge and get over it". Life is pretty tough right now Pop, please help us build this bridge that will get us through these tough days. Smile Pop, no more pain. I miss you so much Pop. I Love You Very Much. Your son, Jeff

Very few men today could hold a candle to Uncle Lloyd. In my 38 years I have never heard a person say anything but positive things about him. He was a devoted family man - an amazing husband, father and grandfather. I feel so blessed that I got to spend so much of my childhood with Aunt Donna and Uncle Lloyd. They created so many wonderful memories for us. I remember them opening up their garage when I was moving out on my own for college. They loaded my Dad's truck up with furniture for my new apartment. That is the type of people and family they are - always supportive, always loving.
They raised two incredible men - cousins that I often talk to my own son about. "Real life heroes" I tell my boy. Uncle Lloyd's love and support of them never wavered. He was so proud.
When I was in my 20's, we almost lost Uncle Lloyd to a heart attack. I remember crying all the way to the hospital and then when the doctor came in and told us he wouldn't make it - well, I thought that was going to be my first real experience with losing a loved one. Instead, what took place that day was nothing short of divine and it went on to be one of the most important moments/turning points in my life. My uncle David grabbed our hands and began to pray. Mind you, the doctor had already told us he wouldn't make it. As the prayer began to flow, for the first time in my life, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and I knew Uncle Lloyd would be okay. That experience began a number of steps that led me to becoming a Christian and later getting baptized. I will forever be grateful to him for this - his will to live in so many ways saved my life.
I love you Uncle Lloyd and our family will never be the same without you.
