Logan Vogel Obituary
Born to Samantha Vogel on April 3, 2004, in Stony Brook, New York, Logan spent his entire life as a proud resident of Mount Sinai. A proud 2022 graduate of Mount Sinai High School and the Boces Auto Mechanics program, Logan was known for his industrious nature and passion for automotive work. Following his graduation, he put his skills to use at Mavis Discount Tire in Port Jefferson, where his commitment and work ethic were evident to all who knew him.
Logan is survived by a close-knit family, including his beloved mother Samantha and stepfather Patrick; his cherished grandparents, Lynn and Michael; his devoted uncles, Andrew, Brian, and David; his caring aunts, Debra, Donna, and Adriane; his dear cousins, Dylan, Blake, and Madison; and his beloved fiancée, Vesper. Logan's deep affection for animals shone through in his care for his numerous pets through the years: Pippy, Cream, Simon, Pickles, Apollo, Daisy, Isabella, and Jake. He will be profoundly missed by a wide circle of friends, united in their shared love of motorcycles and their appreciation for Logan's zest for life.
The Vogel family welcomes friends, loved ones, and those whose lives were touched by Logan to gather in remembrance on Monday, August 26th. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 AM at Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 855 Canal Road, Mount Sinai, NY 11766.
The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Shalom Memorial Chapels in Smithtown, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Logan's memory to assist with funeral expenses. At the ages of 14 and 15, Logan and I had our first conversation over FaceTime. I put on a full face of makeup beforehand, but ended up being too shy to even show my face. On our first date he took me to the movies. I couldn´t even remember the plot because I was so focused on him. He was absolute perfection and I could see it from the start. During our 5 year relationship, Logan had shown me nothing but pure love, respect, and admiration. I will forever cherish the memories we have made together. He proposed to me on our 5 year anniversary. I lost him 42 days after we got engaged. There are no words with enough emotion to explain how utterly in love I was with him, and I will continue to love him for the rest of my life.

I used to go to Logan´s house all the time and he was one of the nicest people I´ve ever met. He would teach me things about bikes as I have a big passion for them. I would´ve never gotten so close to riding if I didn´t see how cool it was watching Logan ride. The amount of joy I had when I saw Logan and his friends all hanging out so I can stop by is unforgettable. Rest in peace Logan.

Whenever me and Logan would hangout at his house we would always mess around with this green riding lawnmower he had he would teach me how to fix it and work on it everytime we got done messing around with it and eventually breaking it but everytime he would teach me and we would do the same thing over and over he always put a smile on my face and always made me feel like family and we were family

I couldn´t tell you the time I met Logan but I can tell you that Logan kinda spawned into my life one day and never left! Whenever Marshall would go to his house I would tag along to work on cars even though I had no idea what I was looking at. He always made sure that I was included. He had such an adventurous and thrill seeking spirit! He would take you out of your comfort zone and those were the best memories. We did a lot of dumb things with the group of friends that have now become my family! He always had a smile and his laugh was infectious! He was the only person able to do a burn out in my jeep! I will forever miss the freezing nights in the garage working on things and getting tools thrown at me (if you know you know)

My favorite memory with Logan has to be the time he convinced someone to sneak us into the port Jefferson dock and it was incredible and super funny. We caught crabs thousand of schooling fish and even a jelly fish that we took turns getting shocked by, we were total idiots and he was cracking up jokes the whole time. We had to have hung out for 12 hours that day and I miss it. Here´s some pictures of Logan, Pat, Ryan, joe, Mike and me and the jelly fish

Logan always made time enjoyable and absolutely fun whether it would just be me and him working on vehicles such like cars, motorcycles, riding or even just sitting on our phones looking at instagram posts that have absolutely no meaning. He never failed to make me laugh. When times where I would be under the weather, he always found some way to suppress it and get me out of my house. We´ve spent countless days and nights playing video games, riding quads, drifting corners late at night and even working on our own projects. Logan taught me so much and made me the person I am today including in my career in automotive. I love you brother, Ride in Paradise.

The day I met Logan. I was invited to come along and meet Patricks friend from school. We introduced ourselves, he showed me all his prized possessions (quads) and we ended up all riding down trails and went exploring that day. First impression of Logan was that he´s crazy but hella cool definitely wanted him as a friend after that we had so much fun. We did so much crazy stuff that day my phone broke to shreds in the woods, totally worth it
