I am so sorry to hear the news ....it was actually announced during our service this morning at Incarnation Lutheran...where Lynda Thompson is such an important party of our ministry. I had the opportunity to meet Gordie and Lois several years ago, and have enjoyed spending time with them.
I know she is at peace, and in a better place now. Please know that you are in our prayers Gordie, along with your entire wonderful family.
God Bless you!

Very sorry for the loss of Lois. I grew up next door to the Bickels and they were like my second family. I will always remember Lois working in her flower beds and admiring her green thumb. She gave me some of her flowers and good advice for my garden when I grew up and living in the same house with my family. I also remember her hanging her sheets up outside and chatting over the fence. Will miss you Lois but I know you are in a better place. It is just hard on those left behind.
