GREENSBORO- Lois Colleen Stone Bradshaw, 75, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Blumenthal Jewish Home.
A funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Forbis & Dick Guilford Chapel with the Rev. John Connor officiating. Inurnment will be in Clinton City Cemetery in Clinton, N.C., on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 12 p.m.
Lois was a furniture retail salesperson with Rhodes Furniture, who moved to Greensboro from Fayetteville. She enjoyed people and never met a stranger. Her favorite line was, "How do I know you?" She still had friends from her school days believing "once a friend, always a friend." Lois touched the lives of many throughout her life.
Survivors include three children, Deborah Bradshaw of Greensboro, Tom Bradshaw of Valle Crucis, N.C., and Les Bradshaw of Germany; one sister, Evelyn Tew of Clinton, N.C.; three grandchildren, Shaun Bradshaw of Greensboro and Angela and Dennis Bradshaw of Germany; and two great-grandchildren, Graham and Brantleigh of Greensboro. She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Marie Thompson and Barbara Hicks and former husband, Henry Leslie "Les" Bradshaw.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice & Palliative Care at Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
