Lois Darlene Byerley

Darlene was an amazing, super woman who could prepare the most wonderful cuisine, play great bridge and tell unbelievable stories. She was a dear friend who enriched our lives whenever we were together in California, Tahoe or Texas.

Darlene was a much beloved bridge partner,chef, hostess, and most importantly, friend. All of us from Texas who came to know her absolutely loved her and will miss her terribly - her funny stories and memories will be with us forever.

Your family have my deepest sympathy. You can find comfort from God's word. 1 Cor. 1:3-4. He gives comfort in our trials and sorrow. Rely on him for comfort and strength in your time of deep sorrow.

We knew Darlene through the Sacramento River Valley Porsche Club. She was a lovely and lively woman whose presence always brightened up a room. We will miss her very much.

My family and I lived across the street from Darlene, Sam, Melanie and Sally. They were all great neighbors and I am sorry to hear of Darlene's passing.
