JAMESON, Lois Ann (nee HUFFMAN) July 18, 1952 – February 23, 2023 Lois Ann Jameson (nee Huffman) peacefully passed away, in her home in Rancho Sante Fe, California, on February 23, 2023, at 70 years of age surrounded by her loving husband of 45 years, Jim, and each of her siblings. Cherished sister to Sharon Sturgeon (Gary), Gloria Keith (Bruce), Sheila Gragtmans (Paul) and Paul Huffman (Liisa). Loving sister-in-law to Bruce Jameson (Christel) and the late Pat Johnston (Bruce). Devoted aunt to nieces (Erin, Samantha, Alexa, Jennika), great-nieces (Savannah, Ellie), nephews (Zachary, Tommy, Matthew, Mark, Shane, Corey, Joel, Christopher, Phillip) and great-nephew Jack. Lois joins her loving parents, Chris and Elsie Huffman, in heaven. What a reunion that must have been! Lois was born in Scarborough, Ontario. She graduated from Ryerson University and started her first job at IBM Canada, which launched her technology career for the next 40 years across the globe. She was a fitness and golf enthusiast. Her love for travel connected her with many longtime friends from around the world. She was happiest walking the beaches of Del Mar with her husband and spending time with family. Lois was admired for her passion, dedication, and generous spirit. Family was her everything. She wanted the best for everyone, and she was always there to help. Having Lois at your side was like having ten people working on your behalf. She made things happen which you didn't think were possible! She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. A family celebration of life will take place in Canada. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, www.lbda.org, would be appreciated by the family.

Hi Jim, I just learned about Lois's passing today. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I have so many fun memories of Lois and you, whether doing business in Toronto, partying at conventions, or visiting you in California. I always admired the two of you for your sense of humor, straightforward communication, fun-loving attitude, class, and business success.

Remember, the memory of Lois lives forever in every heart she touched. Take one day at a time, and know that healing is a journey. You and Lois's family are in my thoughts.

I was saddened to learn of Lois' untimely passing. We grew up together in Toronto, both attending Woodbine Heights Baptist Church. Our families rented cottages in Parry Sound. We got together in recent years when Lois was here to look after Elsie's care. Deepest condolences to Jim and all of Lois' family.

They say out of the thousands of people you meet in a lifetime, only a few truly have an impact on your life. For me, that was Lois. We joined IBM about the same time and became fast friends. She was a natural born entrepreneur and soon had me selling imported goods, skin creams and even recruiting Nannys from the Orient...all while working full-time at IBM. She encouraged me to break out of traditional female roles and to go to IBM sales school with her. We both finished in the top 10%-- a wonder given the fact we laughed more than studied together. As our careers grew, we both pursued opportunities outside of Canada and I sadly lost track of her and Jim. But I never forgot our wonderful friendship and what an inspiration she was to me in those early years. She truly was one of a kind. My thoughts are with you, Jim and her dear family. She will be missed.

Jim, so sorry to learn of Lois' passing. She was such an intelligent, sincere, sensitive professional. I will cherish the 2 page letter she mailed to me when she was working for IBM in Sweden in the summer of 1974.
The last time I saw her was a number of years ago when we ran into each other in the Manulife Centre on Bloor Street and had a nice chat about "the good old days".
