Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 11, 2025.
Lois Lee "Loey" Ogren-Chapdelaine, 62, passed away on August 1, 2025, in Davie, Florida. Born on September 17, 1962, in Hollywood, California, she spent her early life in Minnesota, lived in Las Vegas a short time and her later life in south Florida. Loey lived a vibrant and creative life filled with adventure, love for the arts, and deep connections with those around her.

Loey was known for her artistic talents and passion for crafting. She worked at a costume shop where she sewed elaborate costumes for dance recitals and Renaissance Fairs Her creativity extended beyond the workplace; she crocheted beautiful blankets for her loved ones, each one a lasting token of her warmth and care. In quieter moments, she found joy in working puzzles and coloring books, activities that reflected her attention to detail and appreciation for beauty.

An adventurous spirit at heart, Loey loved to travel and explore new places. Her zest for life was evident in her love of rock music and dancing-she never missed an opportunity to move to the rhythm of her favorite songs. As a child, she enjoyed riding horses, and later in life she embraced the thrill of motorcycle rides shared with friends and her husband.

Loey's home was filled with companionship and affection from her beloved dog Velcro and cat Mister Little-her constant companions who brought comfort and joy to her days.

She is survived by her son Craig Moen; her mother Diane Ogren; her sister Shelley Ogren-Larson and brother-in-law Robert Larson; sister-in-law Cindy Ogren; nephews Robbie, Aaron (Jenny), Matthew; and niece Kelsey. Also many other friends and neighbors including Petra, Johnny,Jessica and Harley.

May Lois's memory bring peace to all who knew her.

Momma Lois, you were an awesome person to know and I am fortunate to have Soo many wild and Krazy memories with you. It was never a dull moment at your place and anywhere you went. Theres Soo much to tell that it would better be explained like a novel. I'll never forget that time when we made a rope swing in your back yard and we would climb up onto your roof and jump off onto the rope swing and clear the neighbors 6ft privacy fence and you came home and caught one of us just as we were jumping off the roof and you were Soo mad and worried that we were gonna hurt ourself or fall thru the roof or the tree was going to break! Lol. I got to watch Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' movie for the first time there. But enough of that, I'm sorry you had got ill and had to suffer from the health issue you got, but I am glad to know that you are no longer suffering anymore, and you are reunited with lil Machelle and the whole gang of the Krazy people that you had missed. Tell her I said hi and I miss the both of you Soo much! Please look out for our other family and friends. We need some good guardian angels to give us the better guidance we seek for. And make sure Craig gets thru this alright he needs somebody to look after him more. I'm sorry I have to end this short story, but I will NEVER forget you and will see you on the other side! RIP with my love and hugs!... Thank you for letting me mess up your porch when I came down to visit! And crash at your place! K love ya bye!...
