I MISS HIM MUCH. I do not remember a day in my life when I did not interact with him in some way. There were some, but very few were missed. He was a very unusual person and a "General" to the bone, generous and loving. I know he has reached the peace he so longed for. "At Ease" my brother.

BG McLeod served his country with honor, dignity, honesty, patriotism, and fairness. I served with him in the 3rd Battalion 124th Infantry, with headquarters in Panama City, FL. He loved what he did as a soldier. He also served his country with conviction. He loved the men who served under him. I'm sorry to see such a great man leave this earth, but he will serve his Lord in heaven. God has called him home.

We are extremely saddened over the passing of a man who was like a brother to us in so many ways. He was a groomsman in our wedding in 1966 and because of our military lives we had a bond like no other. He was a mentor and a man of great wisdom who we truly loved and will miss him but brother rest in peace and we will see you again in the sweet by and by. Rest high on that mountian

Uncle Harold...as we called him, was always there waiting at the church doors with his iron like handshakes and frying pan like pats on the back. Loved that man, and will miss him dearly. Condolences and love from the Andrews family

General Mc Leod was a great man, civic leader, and dedicated Rotarian. A true patriot that loved his country, armistist day and other patriotic parades. Our deepest condolences to the Mc Leod family. At this time of great sorrowing you be comforted by hope, strengthened by faith and guided by the warm thoughts of others through the difficult days ahead.
