Lolita Hammond Obituary
Born in Connecticut, she worked at Cape Regency Nursing Home as a certified nursing assistant and retired in the late 1990's.
She is survived by a son Mark Anthony Barros Sr. of Hyannis and his wife Gale Barros. She was the stepmother of Reggie Barros, Ralph Hammond, Antonio Debarros, LeeAnn Alex, Michelle Syrjala, Jeanne Barros and Carmen Reposa. She was the mother of the late Michael Barros Sr. Stepmother of the late Christopher Reposa, Dominic Barros and PattyJean Hammond. She was the grandmother of Tysha Barros, Mark Barros Jr., Tiffany Helms, Rena DeGrace, Taryn Frye, Michael Barros Jr., Christopher Barros, Laci Barros, and Mickey and Gabriel Roderick. She had several great- grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She also leaves behind her special friends Emogene Lopez and family, Laurie Vicente. And special angels Jeanne Stack and Judith McGrath.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2010, at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Rd, Bourne, MA. To follow procession, please meet us at John Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road (Rte 28), Marstons Mills promptly at 9:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Falmouth Hospital Intensive Care Unit.

Our paths crossed many, many times, over many years; I have significant and fond memories of Lolita. Personally, Lolita was a lady to be respected and admired.
May her family find comfort among devoted friends and each other.
