SHEILA MARY (Former head mistress 1965 - 1991) It is with deep regret that we announce the unexpected but peaceful death on June 16th 2012 of Sheila, aged 81 years, dearly beloved only child of the late Fred (Station Master, Harrogate) and the late Frances Longbottom. Cherished cousin of Arthur Luty (New Zealand) and Special Aunt and friend to Barbara Aherne (nee Wood) and wider family members. Sheila was a friend to so many people, who will miss the on-going contribution she made to every life she touched. Funeral service will be held on Friday 6th July at St. James the Great Church, Galloway Lane, Pudsey LS28 8JR commencing at 1pm, prior to private cremation at Rawdon Crematorium. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the church. No flowers please, by request. Donations, if so desired to St. James the Great Church or The Children's Society either to collect in Church or directly to Jayne Verity, Funeral Director, Stony Royd, Farsley, Leeds LS28 5JA.
