Miss you Lonnie Jr. Vic passed last Dec. A year now, you know. Aunt Martha's 96! Your sisters miss you, as do all who knew you♡ almost a new year. Carry on brother being a spirit for God. A message to your family to walk the right way, to love truly, to be a blessing. We all think of you. I think of that song, The Very Thought of You. You are the cardinal, the beautiful red bird on top the white snow. Winters here, but thoughts of you warm our hearts, a little less laughter without you around, a lot more joy in heaven! Love reaches across eternity!
To you Mr Thomas

For some reason my brother, i picture us together shoulder to shoulder walking on 22nd st. just past Locust St. the old Catholic school across from us. You talking away as you do, the two of us exchanging ideas, and what's up. You always interested, asking my advice. Later you told me you realized at that moment, I was your best friend. We could talk about anything. We were children in a sun shiney world. Things beyond our control split us up at times. But the heart always knows. When you were you we talked with much aplomb, with alot of laughter, we didn't even have to say it, to be in laughter heaven, we were on the same page. I know you are again healthy ~handsome, in a sun shiney place of love. ♡♡♡♡♡♡ this I know so well.Yr sister. Love you Lonnie

It's raining, it sounds like Omaha back in the days of our childhood, night fell as rain showered our roof and the leaves, making the earth dark an rich. We were upstairs in our 100 year old house. All of us together. You were something, smart and imagionative. I think of you often. Mom, Dad, you. Time moves and carries us along, but I recall your busy spirit clear as a bell. Call me sometime, I'll hear you. They're fixing up our spot, the Fair Deal. Your sister, Deb

We often talked about GOD and JESUS, and did affirmations together. GOD often heard Lonnie Jr. right away, things would get better, and I saw him come through close calls, where GOD gave him the nod. Now Lonnie Jr. is ready for his first heavenly assignment for the Lord, our GOD and Savior. He is wearing the breast plate of armor, of Jesus, it is bright and new, Lonnie has many good deeds to do! He is whispering guidance into the ears of his son's, his daughter, grand children and wife of many years, Lonnie Jr. is with GOD, and his mission has only just begun! Whether he knew it or not, Lonnie really really touched many lives. I am at peace for you brother, and I'll always keep you in my heart. GOD speed, GOD's love, and now Lonnie Jr. is an angel of the LORD! Febr., 2013 Your Sister, Empryst Taunya Jackson, I Love You!

As children we watched together from the window, in our house of over 100 years, the vibrant red Cardinals, eat the bread crumbs we fed them, on top the sparkling white snow, in winter, Omaha. Like the Cardinals, Lonnie Jr., stood out from the rest, bright and beautiful! We will always remember you Lonnie Jr. And I will remember all those times we shared as children. Like the Cardinal on snow, a permanent beautiful memory. Love~Love Deborah

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel when we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still, what moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why he left this earth so soon, or why he left before you were ready to say good-bye but little by little you begin to remember not just that he died but that he lived. And that his life gave everyone memories too beautiful to forget. I'll never forget the day when you asked me to help you get out of the hospital. I could never forget that conversation that day. May you rest in paradise Mr. Thomas. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Thomas family during this difficult time.

I am a witness to a family with tremendous love and respect in heart,
They were together like everyones new Love start,
I seen them and watched children blossom from thier childhood dream,
I think "There it is" let everyone see.
What I saw and pray on this blessing and let them be.
It is simple, easy and plain to see,
That Lonnie and Regina, can't nothing and no one pull this familys love apart,
After 40 years, with some sad and happy tears, and no outside fears-They
stood for Until death do us apart.........
With that being said, Lonnie my friend, my brother Inlaw was fun Laughing, but Serious, full of wisdom, with a great spirit of eagerness, That is why we are here to say we Love You and we shall see you later Lonnie B. Thomas
With love, your brother, your friend Craig Owen

This is my Father. I say father because you have been there since day one. Since you met your wife Regina, and I was only two years old. You have been in my life and made a beautiful family, and was a good man. I am really going to miss you because you and I know all the things we have been through together.
Alot of fun and smiles, and plenty of respect with a lot of love to go with that. I am really going to miss you Dad, and I will always have love for you. I will remember you for the rest of my life.
Your Son Maurice. God Bless You Lonnie Benjamin Thomas Jr.

Dear Dad,
There is so much I want to say to you that I didn't get to say to you face to face. So I talk to you everyday in spirit, and I know you can hear me. But one thing I can't express enough is how much I love you and appreciate you.
Technically, you are my grandfather, but in reality you were the only dad I had. Even at the hardest times, you always thought positive and kept a big smile on your face. And I admired that about you. From us swing dancing to old school music when I was a little girl, to your famous Kool-aid and fried steaks.
Your always, and will always be in my mind, heart and soul until the day we meet again. I love you so much. And Thank you for all you have done for me as my Dad!
Love Always Your Babygirl Shontess( Grand daughter)

Hey Dad,
Man where do I start? We have so many memories together that I would never forget, I never had my biological father around, but you made up for that by being the best grandpa you could be.You were a man full of wisdom and multiple stories with a wild history.
I learned so much from you while I was growing up, and it is an unexplainable feeling now that you're out of my life.We connected on a level that a grandparent and a grandkid should connect on. We could talk about anything for hours. You made me love music, from the late 60's to the 90's, and you are the reason why I know so much about the music industry and the oldies.
You taught me so much Dad, to be clean, smart, and to always stay focused. It is not over between me and you. We have so much more to converse about while you give me a famous massage like old times. I miss you Dad!
Love , your Grandson Shavon Thomas

Dad,
I love and miss you dearly. I never thought this day would come. You was Superman to me. Nothing could stop you. As a baby that grew into a man, you have always been there for me and all of us. I love and Thank you for that. That's any boy or kids dream to have a father like you around. I learned a lot about life from you. You was a man with a personality that would light up the room like the Sun.
Very outgoing, with a big warm heart. A man of wisdom, not to mention fashion(LoL):-) It makes me proud to be a splitting image of you. I cant say I miss our conversations we had, because I can still hear and feel you talking to me in my heart. Souls like yours DONT die, they live forever!!! So like You and Mom say, It's not goodbye, it's I'll see you later.......We will meet again. I love you and miss you Dad.

My Father, my Dad. I am so proud to be named after you. I am so proud to be a son created by you. Even over the years, I always gave you a hard time, or made jokes of you, ok about you, but it was the only way I could really show you my love I have for you. It was unconditional. I never knew what it was like not to have a Father because you was always a Father to us. And you always will be a Father to us.
I love you Dad!

HI Daddy,
I will always remember our long talks. You constantly advised me to "Know who I am". I remember when you said, " A good tree can only bare good fruit." Daddy, you always reminded me of how special I am. Daddy, Thank youfor being here for me. I miss you dearly.
I would always try to do something silly just to get you to laugh. I cherish your smile. Even when you would tell me the same story twice, I would listen like it was the first time I heard it. You and I have the same faith in God. So I know you are shinning in Heaven, and I bet you are the best dresser.
I still admire your drawings. One day I will be as good as you. Daddy, Thank youfor preparing me for this world. Your spirit will always be alive in my heart. You are my best Pal. Rememberwhen you told me to "Control my creative side", because we are both left handed. I always thought that was funny. I Love You Daddy!! I can hear you say," I know you do baby girl." Daddy may you rest in Peace!
An Eternal love from your Daughter Lonnette.
