Lora Burton Obituary
Lora Marie Utterback Burton, 69, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL passed away on February 7, 2023, in Jacksonville, FL.
A joyful person, she always enjoyed walks on the beach and spending quality time with family and friends.
Lora was born on July 30, 1953, in Louisville, KY, to Charles and Rosa Mae Utterback. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Rosa Mae Perry Utterback and her sister Lisa U. Bunch. Survivors include her father Charles N. Utterback, her brother Bernie L. Utterback (Tess), and her brother-in-law Terry Bunch.
Funeral services will be held graveside at Best Cemetery in Mount Eden, KY at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 18, 2023, with burial to follow.

Lora was a childhood friend, and although many years have passed since we last saw each other, cherished memories will always remain. I will remember Lora for many things, especially how wonderful she was to Lisa, as an older sister.
My sincere condolences to Lora and Lisa's wonderful family and friends. My heart aches for them.

Learning of Lora´s illness and passing was such a shock. Lora and I met as young teens, grew up together sharing our lives as teen girls do. We worked together and were roommates as young women, participated in each other´s weddings. She was a special part of those growing up years a person doesn´t forget. My deepest sympathy to her family * she was a special person and know she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Scanning the obituaries and saw a familiar name. I used to work with a Lora Burton in Lexington, KY and lost touch when I moved. Always smiling. Wonderful laugh. My condolences to Lora's friends and family.
