Lora Ann (Catman) Garey

Lora and I were together in school as Combat Medics. Although we were together only for a short time, I could tell she was a kind and loving soul. My condolences to her family and friends.

The Nurse´s Oath:

Before God and those assembled here, I solemnly pledge; To adhere to the code of ethics of the nursing profession; To co-operate faithfully with the other members of the nursing team and to carry out faithfully and to the best of my ability, the instructions of the physician or the nurse who may be assigned to supervise my work.
I will not do anything evil or malicious and I will not knowingly give any harmful drug or assist in malpractice.
I will not reveal any confidential information that may come to my knowledge in the course of my work. And I pledge myself to do all in my power to raise the standards and prestige of nursing.

My condolences to the family. Lora was a wonderful and caring person. She had dry and witty sense of humor. We served together in "Paradise" as 1SG Barker would always say and deployed together as a family. You will always be a Battle.

You were such an amazing leader and always pushing us to do better. You will be missed.

Lora was such an incredible human being and I´m thankful to have served alongside her in Hawaii and Iraq. A mentor to so many Soldiers, Lora was dependable, hardworking, caring and someone everyone looked up to. My condolences to the Family; her Army Family is also grieving the loss of this wonderful woman.

You were my friend. You stood up for me when my unit didn't. You were my teacher. We told bad jokes and watched House. We ate together in strange deserts. We were night shift buddies in the ER. I loved your accent.

We will always love Lora . Thankful for the short time she spent with our family. With best wishes for Jacob and the Catman Family.
