Lora Glenn, 80, passed away unexpectedly
July 22, 2008, at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa with her
loving family by her side. She was born Dec. 13, 1927, in San Francisco.
She married the love of her life, Lewis Glenn, and the young couple lived in Vallejo for 17 years before moving to Napa in 1978.
Lora and Lewis owned Three Brothers Furniture store in Vallejo where they worked side by side and she was also the bookkeeper for 56 years. Lora was a member of Napa Valley Country Club, where she enjoyed golfing with her fellow lady golfers. She also enjoyed gardening and antiquing; but her greatest joy in life was her family. Her gentle spirit and smile will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.
Lora is survived by her children, Linda Puccetti of Napa, Carol (Curt) Beckwith of Vacaville, Gary (Julia) Glenn of Fairfield, Larry (Dayna) Glenn of Vacaville, and, Donna (Jack) Leiser of Napa; 11 grandchildren, David Pucecetti, Laurie Neal-Puccetti, Steve
Puccetti, Ken Beckwith, Paul Beckwith, Jaime Glenn, Justin Glenn, Russell Van Sistine, Natashia Van Sistine, Dustin Baker and Kaitlyn Glenn; eight great grandchildren; and her sister, Helena (Phil) Cali of Danville. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Lewis Glenn.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, in the chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service with Chaplain Lee Shaw officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sjšgren's Syndrome Foundation, 6707 Democracy Blvd., Suite 325, Bethesda, MD 20817.
