LORENE MAE MAIBACH

MAIBACH LORENE MAE Was born September 8, 1922 to Emma and Joseph Belsley in Morton, Illinois. She went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2009 in Livonia, MI at the age of 87 years and 2 months. Surviving Lorene are her beloved husband of 65 years, Benjamin Maibach Jr., Livonia, MI and Sarasota, Florida; eight children, Kay Irwin of Northville, MI, Ben and his wife Barb of Farmington Hills, MI, Alan and his wife Terese of Sarasota, FL, Connie and her husband Roger Kahler of Morton, IL, Bev and her husband Mark Bahr of Farmington Hills, MI, Cindy and her husband Tom Hitz of Plymouth, MI, Sheryl of Farmington Hills, MI, Doug and his wife Carole of Commerce Township, MI; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Bob Belsley of Morton, IL. Preceding her in death were her brothers, Clarence, Willard, Willis, Ed, and Ben Belsley; her infant sister, Elizabeth Belsley; and two granddaughters, Paige Kahler and Lindsey Maibach. At the age of 18, Lorene committed her life to the Lord, was converted and Baptized, and became a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. Her faith and love for the Lord, along with her life of serving others, has been an inspiration to many. Lorene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Being home with her family was a priority and precious blessing to her. She faithfully supported her husband, including his work in the ministry, and graciously opened her heart and home to guests while taking care of her family over the many years. Her family, relatives, and many friends will cherish her legacy and miss her dearly. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152. Visitation hours are Sunday, November 29 from 2-8 p.m. The funeral home is located 1 Mile E. of I-275 between Newburgh and Levan Rds. The Funeral Service will take place at the Apostolic Christian Church, 29575 Wentworth Ave., Livonia, MI 48154 on Monday, November 30 at 11:30 a.m., following a short visitation at the church starting at 10:30 a.m. The Church in located on Wentworth Ave., W. of Middlebelt, between 5 and 6 Mile Rds.
