Loretta Ann Berg

Berg SERVICE TONIGHT Loretta Ann Berg age 71, of Robbinsdale, passed away on Aug. 6, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 1, 1933 and was raised in Robbinsdale, where she resided when she passed. Loretta was a waitress for many years and upon her return to Robbinsdale she volunteered countless hours at North Memorial Medical Center, the City of Robbinsdale, and many abuse programs during the past ten years. She was a member of the Westphal American Legion Post #251 Aux. for 32 years and served as its Secretary for 12 years. On July 17, 2004 she was named Volunteer of the Year for her work with Operation Post Home. We have never met a person who did not love her. She was an angel to everyone who met her. She is preceded in death by daughter, Robin Jo Williamson and parents, James and Annie Summers. Survived by beloved husband, Charlie Berg; children, Ray (Kathy) Williamson, Susan (Sam) McCarty, Steve (Barbara) Williamson, Ricky Williamson, Randy (Lisa) Williamson, Tony Berg, Cathy (William) Hart, Linda (John) Ransdall, and Charie (Steve) Franson; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; other family and friends. It was our pleasure to have loved and known her. Funeral service TONIGHT 8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th and West Broadway. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
