I taught Lori in 1981/2 while on exchange from a college in Liverpool England. We remained friends and kept in touch, seeing each other now and again. A really wonderful, funny, and smart person. Lori's laugh and smile will remain with me forever.

Loretta was always sharing stories of Shannon and Joseph, who she loved to the moon! We were teammates and lunch buddies at work for several years, and I always enjoyed hearing stories of he family and friends.

I remember that Loretta was always willing to provide a rookie with a word of encouragement or a helping hand. Rest in peace. --Nate Curry, former USPIS LA Division ('02-'06).

Loretta (we always called her Lori when we were kids) was a wonderful cousin. She was so full of life especially when she was growing up in Corona. She loved the outdoors and she also loved being around horses. As we got older, we grew apart. I returned to the Midwest and haven't seen her in quite some time. I have never forgotten our wonderful days together. I have always admired her and will greatly miss her. She was one of a kind.

I am at a loss for words to express my sadness for you Mary, Shannon and Joseph. I had the opportunity of knowing your mom and I know heaven just received one special lady. I am so sorry for your loss.
