LORETTA MAE FLEMING KOUTS, IN Loretta Mae (Baum) Fleming passed peacefully from this life on April 29, 2010 in Sun City Center, Florida. She was born August 26, 1937 in Malden, IN to Leland and Minnie (Stolte) Baum. On April 28, 1956 she married Stanley E. Fleming in Valparaiso, IN, who preceded her in death on February 22, 2004. After 17 years with Northern Indiana Bank, Loretta retired to spend more time with her family. She was a faithful member of the Vale Church of Christ in Valparaiso and the South Hillsborough Church of Christ in Ruskin FL while wintering there. A loving mother, she is survived by a son, Kyle (Nancy) Fleming of Kouts; and a daughter Kellie (Terry) Walter of Crossville, TN. Also surviving is her sister, Mary ( Lewis ) Carter of Wanatah, IN; sister-in-law, Gladys (Swartz) Baum of Valparaiso, IN; brother, Robert (Norma) Baum of Wanatah, IN, Harry (Kay) Baum of Linneus, MO; sister-in-law, Patricia (Downey) Baum of Wanatah, IN; and brother, Larry (Sharon) Baum of DeMotte, IN; grandchildren: Jesse Williamson of Kouts and Ryan and Matthew Walter of Crossville, TN; special friends: Don and Sue Schoon, Carole Baum, Gail Tuminello, Linda Grunau, Penny Robinson, Sharon Ronko and Sheila Ludington. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers: Leland (Bud) Baum, Jr., Vernon Baum and; special friend, Marilyn Mertz. Visitation will be Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home in Valparaiso, IN. There will be visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010 with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Adam's Cemetery in Morgan Township. In lieu of flowers, Loretta requested donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 W.
