Lori Koehn Pinson, 51, of Hurricane, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, after a very long illness. She was born on November 22, 1964 in Charleston. She was a 1982 graduate of St. Albans High School and graduated from WV State University with an Accounting Degree. She later obtained her CPA. She was a member of Cross Lanes Baptist Church. Lori's faith was very important to her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Alan Pinson; mother, Brenda Carney Koehn; paternal grandparents, Jarrold G. and Margaret E. Koehn; maternal grandparents, Thalia and Gene Carney. Lori is survived by her son, Dustin K. Pinson of Poca; daughter, Cassie R. Pinson of Teays Valley; grandson, Liam Pinson of Poca; father, John Koehn of Teays Valley; sister, Kimberli Koehn Anderson of Teays Valley; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 6:00 Pm to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 26 at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston. A Service to Honor the Life of Lori will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February, 27 at the funeral home with Rev. Seth Polk officiating. Burial will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston. The family would like to express their gratitude to Denise, Trisha, Lisa, Renee, Pam and Susan for the love, care and special friendship shared with Lori over many years.
