Lori S. Wallace of Pittsburgh, beloved wife of Miles J. Wallace; mother of Ariana Christine Wallace and Aidan Glen Wallace; daughter of Glen and LaVonne Johnson of Marco Island, FL and Pittsburgh, died at home on Thursday, January 5, 2006. She is also survived by her sister, Vicki Zaneis and Dean of Lady Lake, FL and her grandmother, Elphie Kettner of Marco Island, FL; also surviving are her nieces, Kristianna Lindgren, of Gainesville, FL and Katelyn, Kora and Kari Johnson of Marco Island, FL; and her sister-in-law, Sheila Johnson of Marco Island, FL. She is survived by her aunt, Byrma Paulzine and her family, and her uncle, Jeffrey Corley of Minnesota. Lori was predeceased by her brother, David G. Johnson of Marco Island and her grandparents. Lori was a graduate of DePaul University and was an accomplished musician. She had lived in Israel and Mexico for several years when she worked as an orchestra member and taught music in Colima,Mexico. Lori was a founding member of Con Spirito Woodwind Quintet in Pittsburgh. Lori's priority was a dedicated wife and mother. In recent years she had returned to riding horses and spent a lot of time with her daughter at the stable and horse shows in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida and Kentucky. There will be no visitation, a memorial service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 1:30 pm at First Lutheran Church, 615 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA, followed by entombment in the First Lutheran Church columbarium. The family kindly requests no flowers and if desired, donations may be made in memory of Lori to First Lutheran Church, or The Hillman Cancer Center, c/o Cooper Pavillion Development Office, 5115 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15232, or Forbes Hospice, 115 S.
