I am so very sad to hear of Lori's passing. I wanted to reconnect with her and found out of her passing. I remember so many days of shared coffee in Alaska. Lori, Lori. I just learned the news. I feel like my heart is breaking. All these years since we lost contact, I assumed you were doing well…not that you were in turmoil. All those times I thought of you and said, “You know, I really should try to get a hold of her,” but I didn’t do it. Old friend, I wish I would have. Oh, the regrets now!
Peace, old friend. I will never forget you and all our times together. When I walk the beach, you will walk with like we did that month in Florida after graduation. When I hear music and go to concerts, I will sense your presence. I will always remember all the times, your beautiful dark hair, mischievous eyes and flashing smile, your laughter and your tears, your sense of fun – before these dark ages that must have come upon you and tormented you at the end. You are safe now.
My love to you, always. My prayers for your children, and for you, always.

Our condolences to Lori's family. We have been living out of town and did not hear of her passing. Lori stayed in our home a couple of years ago and we still have some of her belongings she left here. If her children could contact me I would be more than happy to see that they receive them. Our prayers are with you.

I am so sad. I did not hear of her passing until several weeks after. I missed the announcement.
We shared a lot over the years, and she was much like me when I was her age. Her losses were felt like they were mine I prayed for her always, and now pray for David and their children. They were everything to her.
I will miss her forever.
I am afraid she did not let me know where she was the last few years. That makes me sad, but I understand.
I would like to know where I could send a card to her children.
I tried to be her sponsor a few years ago. She helped me more than she would ever know. I mentioned her at our meeting last Saturday. She is alive in my memories.
Love from Fern

I was so sad to read of Lori's passing, knowing that she had lost the battle she had struggled with for so long. I met her in IBH in September of 2004 and we quickly formed a very close friendship. We were forever having lengthy, intelligent discussions...when we weren't talking about our children. Lori's children were her life. Unfortunately we lost contact later but she has always been in my thoughts and my heart. I pray God takes her into His arms and heals all her hurts.
Love Always,
Julie A. (Hutchison) Baldwin

I was so saddened to read of the recent death of Lori. I was very good friends with her Mom, Sandy, and I have great memories of Lori. Samantha and Jack visited our home during the Xmas holidays when they were small and they were both such a joy. I would like to express my condonences to them both for the loss of their Mom. I worked with Lori at First National Bank in the '80's. Lori was a great deal of fun and I will always remember her as the consummate Rolling Stones fan.

How sad to hear of Lori's passing. Lori was one of my best friends in Jr. High, though I managed to botch that up. I have thought of her often over all these years, with fond memories. Be with the Angels, Lori.~ With much love.
