Lori Wood Pimlico, SC - Ms. Lori "Lolo" Browder Wood, 62, of Pimlico, SC, Executive Vice President and Co-Owner of Sanders Brothers Construction Company, died Saturday evening in a Charleston hospital.Her funeral will be 3:00 PM Thursday afternoon, March 10, 2022, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston, 81 Gadsden St., Charleston, SC 29401, or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.Ms. Wood was born February 3, 1960 in Summerville, SC, a daughter of Al Crooks Browder and Juanita Jackson Browder. She was a graduate of Lord Berkeley Academy and received her Associates Degree from the University of South Carolina. At the age of 22, Ms. Wood joined the staff of Sander's Brothers Construction Company. Throughout the years she worked her way up through the ranks beginning with becoming a heavy equipment operator which she enjoyed very much. She loved every aspect of the business and was a woman of faith and a devoted mother. In her spare time, Ms. Wood enjoyed spending time on the water, at Litchfield Beach, and traveling throughout the world. She was raised by her loving aunt and uncle Gloria and Jimmy Sanders, and she was preceded in death by her sister, Buffy Browder. Ms. Wood was formerly married to the late Frank L. Wood. Surviving are two sons, Matthew C. Wood and Daniel J. Wood both of Pimlico; three brothers, Al Browder and his wife, Kelly, and Barney Browder and his wife, Priscilla, all of Summerville, and Tracey Browder and his wife, Kim, of Moncks Corner; and many nieces and nephews.
