David and Chris, I am very sorry about the loss of your dear Mother. She was a very Special Lady. In a card that I received from her last Christmas, she told me how her sons were so faithful to take care of her during her illness.
I worked with your Dad at ICI Americas for 37 years. I missed your Dad so much after his tragic death and I will certainly miss your Mother. They were a wonderful couple and I will certainly miss them. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of your great loss.

Dave & Chris,
So very sorry to hear about your Mom. Just know that she is at peace and in the arms of her loving husband who had left too early. I will miss her and her beautiful English ways and especially that accent! Music to my ears always. And of course her thoughtful giving ways. My fondest memory is that when I proudly announced that I was going to be a grandma how excited we got and on her next visit, she handed
me my first 'grandma' gift of beautiful knit hat! She also taught us all about tea and crumpets and supplied the goodies! Yum! All the Raymonds have always shown those around them, how much love they shared for each other. Every family should experience such love and devotion!
Much Love To All of You! God Bless.

Dave and Chris,

We were distressed to receive the call from Chris yesterday. We still miss your Dad's visits to Asheville and our good times on the tennis courts. Your parents were very special friends and we have sent a copy of the Observer's Obituary to Joe, Jr. Regardless of age, health, or any other circumstance we are never ready to lose a loved one and particularly a Mother. The only comfort has to come from our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. We are thinking of you and will hold you in our prayers. We wish we could be with you for her service but at our ages we don't travel very much anymore. We just hope in some small way it does help to know others do care. Joe & Zunita Clark
