I only met Mrs. Shearing 3 or 4 times but during those times I clearly saw what a loving wife and devoted and close mother she was to her children. I came to 'know' her more through Carolyne and the loss to her children and grandchildren will be profound. It is lovely that your Mom and Dad are together again.
I am so sorry for your loss.

Dearest Shearing Clan,
There was always a pot of tea in the kitchen when we went to Pitt Meadows for a family visit. I remember a bright home filled with warmth and comfort, with Uncle Norm making all of us laugh, as Dad goofed along with him, and beautiful Aunty Lorna, with her amazing presence, just holding it all together and making us all feel loved.
I remember satin sheets she made as each of her beauties got married- brilliant! Think I will try the same?!
Love all of you, and I am so glad she is there for Norm,

I am so sorry for your loss. I am still in shock with the loss of Lorna and Norman. Your Mom always had a kind word for me in troubled times, when I stopped in to clean. She was funny, beustiful and caring. I will miss her dearly.
