Lorraine E. Mickelson

Mickelson, Lorraine E. (nee Skinner) age 90, of St. Louis Park, Lorraine passed away peacefully on June 14, 2010 at Presbyterian Homes on Lake Minnetonka, Spring Park. She was born in Faribault, MN on Jan. 15, 1920 and was preceded in death by her parents, Elwin O. Skinner & Emma Frechette; husband, Stanley (her Mike); daughter, Nancy Lindell and brother, Kenneth Skinner. Loving mother of Judith (Richard) Anderson and Mark Mickelson. Dear grandmother of Lori Schaefer (Mark Kelly), Lisa Mernik, Mark Anderson (Molly), Nancy Schoenwetter (Jeff). Fond great- grandmother of William Mernik III, James Mernik, Jake Anderson, Cole Anderson, Annie Schoenwetter and Jon Schoenwetter. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Lorraine was an avid gardener and a wizard worker of crossword puzzles. Mom, Grandma, G.G., we miss you and you will be in our hearts always. The world is wide in time and tide and God is guide, so do not worry. For he is blessed who does his best, then leaves the rest, so do not hurry. Memorial service Monday, June 21, 2010 at 7 PM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8115 Hwy 7, St. Louis Park (952-935-5400). A gathering of family & friends will take place for one hour prior to the service at the church. Private interment at Lakewood Cemetery, Mpls.
