Lorraine Ann Skomo, age 76, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

Born December 2, 1948, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Michael Eugene and Jeanette M. (Pajrowski) Molocznik.

Lorraine graduated from Franklin Regional Sr. High School; she then attended the Citizens General School of Nursing. After graduating, she went on to become a successful Registered Nurse. Lorraine was a very creative person, in her free time she enjoyed painting landscapes and portraits, cake decorating, sewing, floral design and interior design. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, David Skomo; her children, David A. (Monica) Skomo and Darin M. Skomo; her grandchildren, Alec and Nathan; her brother, Thomas Molocznik; and her sister, Joan (the late Robert) Remaley.

In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Robert Remaley.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc. 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lorraine's honor to the Thomas E. Starzl Transplant Institute, Forbes Tower, Suite 8084, 3600 Forbes Avenue at Meyran Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. (https://donate.upmc.com/give/617720/#!/donation/checkout?c_src=25STI).
