Lorrie Gean Moss, 61
Lorrie Gean Moss, 61, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away November 28, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Lorrie was born October 9, 1961 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Gene Uphawk Small and Princess George Small.
Lorrie grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. She graduated from Highland High School in 1980. She went on to Idaho State University to become a CNA.
Lorrie married Don Moss but later divorced. She had 4 children, Mindy Long, Cari Long, James Moss and Jared Moss.
Lorrie loved being a mom and was able to raise her children as a stay at home mother. She also worked several years as a CNA.
Lorrie loved to hunt, fish and be outdoors in the mountains. She had many friends she enjoyed hanging out with and she especially loved being with her children and grandchildren.
Lorrie is survived by her children; Mindy Long, Cari Long, and Jared Moss of Fort Hall, ID; aunty-mom, Vida Ballard; siblings, Nathan Small of Blackfoot, ID, Evelyn Small of Fort Hall, ID, Douglas Small of St. Anthony, ID.; adopted siblings, Linda Schmidt of Boise, ID., Lorna Henson of American Falls, ID, Larry Long of WA.; grandchildren, Hector, Esabel and Estella Rodrigues, Vincent and Jackson Dixey, Aiden Moss, Ben, Tulsa and Remington Moss all of Gibson District.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene Uphawk Small and Princess George Small; adopted father, Mark Long; adopted mother, Betty Long; infant sister; sister Sandra Eldridge; son, James Moss; brothers, Delmar Zane Small and Ronald William Small; grandchildren, Jared Jr. and Shay Moss (twins).
Lorrie will be taken to Eagle Lodge on Wednesday, November 30. 2022 at 10:00 a.m.. A prayer service will be held at Hawker Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Armena Fred will conduct the service. Traditional burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the Gibson Cemetery.
