LOU DeSANTIS #1> Born December 10, 1929 in Youngstown, Ohio. Passed away October 14, 2005 in Burbank, California, at the age of 75. He was a resident of Burbank for 39 years, and had worked in Props/Maintenance at Warner Bros for 28 years. Lou was featured on the front page of the Burbank Leader on May 28, 2003. He was a life-time Veteran's Advocate, and belonged to the VFW Ship 8310, Ame rican Legion Post 150, DAV Chapter 40, and Warner Bros Retirees. Lou was born in Ohio, and served in the United States Army as a decorated Korean War Veteran. He was married to Jean DeSantis for 47 years until her death in 2001. He moved his family to Burbank in 1966, worked for various studios with Local 44 and with Warner Bros from 1961 until his retirement in 1993. Twice a commander of VFW Burbank, past commander of DAV Burbank, and long-time member and captain of VFW and DAV Memorial Squad and Dril l Team. He is survived by his son, Ron DeSantis of Burbank; three granddaughters, Kate Graham, Drew DeSantis and Eve DeSantis; and one brother, Ed DeSantis of Florida. Visitation on Thursday, October 20, 2005, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday, October 21, 2005, 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., with Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m., on Friday. All services at Valley Funeral Home. A Reception will begin at 6:00 p.m., Friday, at the VFW, 1006 Magnolia Blvd., 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Disabled Veterans Charities, 13550 E.
