Rest in Peace Cousin Louis...you will be greatly missed! You certainly was the Rock for the Balena Family and also the Lancia Family. Forever loved and missed!

I was a student at Laurier in the early 70s. My father passed away in 1973 and Mr Balena came to collect me form the classroom. I remember how caring he was when he announced the news to me. I'll never forget that kindness he had shown to this very young girl. May you Rest In Peace.

Louis as the anniversary of your passing approaches. I remember with deep sorrow the joyful times we shared together as sibling you and I. You are in my thoughts now and in the days to come.

As difficult as this time is, I find comfort in knowing that the memories and love we shared as brother and sister will always be with me. For there is an unbroken thread that is woven from the love and memories that keeps our family together. For nothing is as real as the precious moments we shared and will always be a part of our life. Louis, I miss you so much.

Louie, just weeks away from March and the day that you were taken from us. We miss you so much. Not a day goes by without thinking of you. Will always remember and love you.

Mr. balena taught me history in high school in St-Leonard in the early 70's. Never was a history class so encompassing, interesting & alive. Loved him as a teacher.

Over the years we lost touch, but the last time we were together it was a special occasion. You will be missed by all who knew you. You will be remembered as a Special person.

We knew Louis when we attended teacher'college, but lost contact when we moved to Calgary. Please accept our deepest sympsthies.
