Dear Coach Lou, Mrs C, Lauren, Britney, Louie and David

Im so sorry for all of your losses. I'm in London for school and my mom called me today telling me that Louis Sr. passed. If i where in town i would make every attempt to show my condolances. Although I had only a few meetings with big Lou, I know he must have been a great man because the people that came after him are living evidence of his character. You guys are probably my favorite family and I think that each and every one of you is lovable and fun to be around. That in itself, is a testament to person he was. Also I'm sure (if hes anything like lil louie, david and middle lou), he must have been an extraordinary entertainer and could light up a room with his great personality, generosity and kindness. Based on this assumption, I'm sure you have many fond memories of him.

I give you my strength and love, and always remember that his legacy lives on in each one of you and I know he is very proud to call each of you one of his own. I will come around the block when I get home from school to visit like old times and just know that I'm wishing you all the best.

Love,

Mike "Piggy" Pignanelli

Dear Danila & Family

In the next few days you will receive many words of memories of Lou and the family he has raised here in Windsor - I share these thoughts as I knew Lou since he and Lou Favoro were buddies in the early 50s.

I knew Lou to always be a gentleman, a good friend and a very good business mind.

We all know the long fight he had during recent years as he kept the smile and the conversation going at all times.

Best wishes to all the family
