Louie God waited as long as he could. You were needed here to show us how gentle and good a person could be. What a roll model for the rest of us. May Peace be with you and your lovely bride

Mr. Carpinelli was the salt of the earth. I felt that his kindness and sweetness ennobled the rest of our somewhat rough and tumble Detroit neighborhood. He adored his wife, loved his kids, worked hard to support everybody, and took deep and abiding pleasure in life's simple pleasures, such as fishing in the Detroit River and savoring Mrs. Carpinelli's delicious cooking. I've known him the whole of my 52 years, and honestly can say that I don't think he ever uttered an unkind word. May his gentle soul rest in peace. My deepest condolences to the Carpinelli kids: Lou, Anita, Al, Michael, and Theresa.

Memories of a lovable gentleman who showed a remarkable calmness with deep sense of appreciation for his wife when I met him at the viewing of his beautiful wife about a couple of years ago. My 5 minute chat with him was inspiring and I went away with his image engraved in my heart.
To Al, Carol, and the entire Carpinelli family I grieve with you. Your father remains alive in our hearts who came in contact with him. Take heart.
