Louis Coronesi Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 12, 2025.
Louis Coronesi, 56, of Floral City, Florida, passed away on April 8, 2025. Born on November 3, 1968, in Rockville Centre, New York, Louis lived a life marked by sincerity, thoughtfulness, and a deep devotion to those he loved. He was the first born to Judith and James Coronesi and made many wonderful memories with his younger brother, Daniel Coronesi, over the course of their childhood. Louis shared a special bond with his father, James, and was always the voice of reason and fairness when James asked for advice in any aspect of business or family life.

A man of integrity and quiet strength, Louis was known for his honesty and reliability. He brought warmth and care into every relationship he nurtured and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His unique spirit shone through in everything he did-from his daily interactions to the passions that filled his life.

Louis found joy in the natural world. An avid outdoorsman, he spent countless hours fishing and hunting, finding peace and purpose in nature's rhythms. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking and loved to share his meals and home grown greens with friends. Louis was a dedicated snake breeder for much of his life and was somewhat of a "mad scientist" when it came to breeding with the intention of producing unique colors, patterns or traits. These hobbies were more than pastimes; they were expressions of his connection to the world around him.

Above all else, Louis cherished time with his family. He was a devoted husband to Erin Coronesi and a loving father to Jeremy Coronesi. The bond he shared with his son was especially meaningful-every moment spent together was treasured deeply.

He never took life for granted. Each day was an opportunity for Louis to show love-in words, in actions, in quiet gestures that spoke volumes. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void.

A memorial service honoring Louis's life is being planned. Date/Time/Location will be shared once plans are finalized.

For anyone wishing to pay tribute to Lou by means of a memorial donation, please consider the following ideas:

Louis had a deep love for his small town of Floral City, Florida. He was specific in his wishes to preserve his historic town along with the beautiful Live Oak trees that make the town unique. Please consider donating to the Floral City Historical Society in honor of Lou.

Additionally, Lou's battle with cancer left him with a deep understanding of the strength it takes to fight every day, sometimes for years straight. He would be honored to know that his passing made a difference in the lives of children who are fighting the same battle. Please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Lou.

Finally, the guidance and compassion of HPH Hospice of Citrus County, Florida, enabled Lou to spend his last weeks in accordance with his wishes. He wished to remain in the comfort of his home, being cared for by his wife. This would not have been possible without the support of his care team. Please consider making a memorial donation to HPH Hospice of Citrus County, Florida.

May the memory of Louis Coronesi bring peace to those who knew him and continue to inspire love and gratitude in their hearts.

Dear Lou,

I will always Remember you for your Smile and your Laughter which was infectious whenever you and Erin visited us. You also made me the Best Octopus Salad I have ever eaten in this life time , we only met a few times but that was you giving of yourself and a Pure Soul. You made me Laugh Lou when I had to shoot a Rattlesnake and felt bad about it and You just Laught and said" well he should have just stayed where he was" we both chuckled and I felt better. I know Your Love for both Erin and Jeremy will live in their Hearts Forever and I Pray God's Comfort and Peace upon them and all your Family. Be at Peace Lou amongst God's Heaven's....Always Michael

Louie was one of the kindest souls I've ever had the privilege to meet. He helped our family greatly and gave me daughter a bearded dragon. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with him with the crabs and learned a great deal from him. Work will never be the same again. He came to be like a brother to me and was always there for us. My heart goes out to his family during this time. He will be sorely missed.

I remember Louie and Erin´s wedding at my house in Florida. Joe made a real fuss over Jeremy. Joe designated him the Best Man, Ring Bearer and of course the Son. It was perfect. All my love, Kathy Attonito
