A month ago we exchanged greetings as we did every Sunday at 6:30 Mass. Now I look at the empty pew and tears roll down my eyes. I'll miss you my friend. I will say a prayer every Sunday when I look at that empty pew. My thoughts and prayers for the family at this sorrowful time.

Dear Coach I am a member of the first football team you coached in Dunmore,1966. You are the reason that I attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mi. for that I owe you my gratitude. It was your contact with Rollie Dostch a teammate of yours at MSU that gave me the opportunity to head north. Not only did I succeed on the field , I started 2 years and earned 3 letters I also graduated from NMU and to this day reside in Michigan just outside of Detroit. You will be happy to know that I am a Big Spartan Fan and have been for as long as I can remember. You would refer to us players as girls sometimes to get us pissed off and with me it worked gosh I hated that , but it is kind of funny so funny that I would say it to my players back when I was coaching HS football here in Mi. How about that. Thank you for all you did for me, I know that first year was a tough one for us but you always had our back. May you Rest in Peace.
