Louis I. Dethloff, age 84, of Flossmoor. U.S. Army Vet WW II, serving as Captain in the 714th Tank Battalion of the 12th Armored Division, Bronze Star recipient. Beloved husband of Betty Dethloff, nee Beatty. Loving father of Bill [Barbara], Bob [Ellen] and Marge Dethloff. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Sara and Kristen. Retired from Baldwin Locomotive 1946-1963, Director of Purchasing at American Steel Foundries 1963-1983. 1942 Graduate of Wharton Business School at University of Pennsylvania. Member of the Flossmoor Community Church, H-F Kiwanis, avid Tennis Player and Car and Train Enthusiast. Memorial Service Tuesday, April 6, 10a.m. at Flossmoor Community Church, 2218 Hutchinson Rd., Flossmoor, Rev. James W. Hartley officiating.
