John and I loved Lou. He was a Godly man who cared and prayed for others. He was always friendly, positive, and willing to help his friends.
Now he has seen Christ face to face.

I did get a massage from Lou. It was weird for me because I knew Lou as a "gunslinger" and a tough guy. He will be missed. Almost every Sunday Lou would stop either me or my wife, or both of us to thank us for our service.

Grandpa Lou will be missed. He had such a love for people and so much wisdom to share. He never failed to make you smile.

Sending love to the Hastings family. You´re all a special part of my husband's childhood (Ted Browning). I´m grateful to have met Lou several times-brought the legend to life!

Dear Sally, I have only gotten to know Lou in the last 3 years and I am thankful for that precious opportunity. He was certainly a hard working man who loved his family and loved to learn and serve others and especially to love you Sally! One glorious day we will see him again!

Lou Hastings, or 'Fred' as I, his older brother, called him while growing up together, became a changed man at a young age of 19 when he turned his life over to Jesus Christ. But before his 'change' he and I grew up in a bad, poor neighborhood, getting into trouble together, and fighting with each other most all the time.

We followed societies 'culture' of life, 'Work, Play, Eat, and Sleep, while climbing the imaginary 'ladder of success'. All without any information or understanding of why we were here on earth. Raised in an 'agnostic/atheistic' environment we were clueless about God our Creator and His only Son Jesus Christ. Fortunately Lou and I discovered the Lord Jesus as a young men, both in different ways and locations. Being enlightened by God, Lou pursued a life of serving the Lord in many ways as the Lord directed him. I admired Lou, my younger brother, for his pursuit of training in the Word of God, with his attendance and graduation from two Bible colleges.

Yes I miss my brother Lou, but I know that we will be reunited in Heaven, and I look forward to that time. My prayers and condolences go out to Sally, Lou's wife and their family of many.
