Louis "Short Man" Mackey, 53
a resident of Dunmore Street, will be held at Shaw Temple AME Church, Peter Street & Baillou Hill Road, on Saturday, 15th October, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Jacob Hannah. Interment follows in Old Trail Cemetery, Old Trail Road.
Left to cherish his memories are his father: Lewis Mackey Sr.; step mother: Mrs. Sylvia Mackey; 3 daughters: Shantel, Louieanna & Darnell Mackey; 2 sons: Louis & Keyvon Mackey; grand children: Vernika Rolle, Mallyiah Forbes, Shanton Mackey, Louis Mackey III, Paris, Teshawn Mackey & Shanelle Thompson; 3 sisters: Gloria Johnson, Christine & Janet Mackey; 2 brothers: Frantz Pascal & Cecil Mackey; sister-in-law: Michelle Pascal; aunts: Angela, Carmen, Rosemary, Louise & Susan Davis & Shirley Johnson of Eleuthera; uncles: Anthony, Rodger, John & Edward Davis, Cenus & Abner Mackey of New York; grand uncle: Johnny Nixon of Farmer's Cay, Exuma; nieces: Stacty Cooper, Shakera, Shaquelle, Lakeisha Smith, Otaranique Allen, Charlestina Davis, Marquel Burrows, Jasmine Johnson, Nikita Williams, Latoya & Opal Mackey; nephews: Ramon, Alfonzo & Anthony Smith, ONeil Bethel, Mark Burrows, Darren & Dion Smith, Jerimiah Johnson, Dario, Shanchez & Randy "Boyo" Mackey; grand nieces: Jefferia Smith, Myah Smith, Asia Johnson, Nyah Williams, Shay Williams & Mia Cash; grand nephews: Lanerzo, Ramon, Tashon, Denaroe Smith, William, Martin, Daeshawn Smith, Nathenal, Kayden Colebrooke, Jermaine Carey & Reynaldo Williams; cousins: Pedro, Ella, Debbie, Shantel & Sha-ann Bain, Monique Calma, Iesha Rolle, Jermaine Knowles, Lorraine, Enid, Bradley & Reneto Nixon, Ann & Joe Joseph, Rick, Ramon, Rayon, Linda, Enid, Paul & Edward Davis Jr., Rashard Stevenson, Tanya, Lamon, Latoya Adderley; other relatives & friends including: Tony, Cavalier Shipping Company, the Taylor Street, Ross Corner, Brougham & Dunmore Steet family.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
