Jonathan Lee Landen went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2012. He was born September 28, 1952, to Andy and Faye Landen in Lusk, Wyoming. Jon was raised in the country in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, with his 3 brothers and one sister, Gary, Bruce, Craig, and Anne. He graduated in 1970 from Scottsbluff High School.


He enjoyed playing guitar, woodworking, auto mechanics, rock hunting, gardening, sports, health, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and studying the Bible.


He served in the U.S Navy from 1972-78 as a Nuclear Qualified Electrician and U.S Navy Reserves, 1978-81 (E-6). On December 8, 1973, he married Patricia Ann Smith in Concord, CA, while he was finishing up Nuclear Power Schooling in Vallejo. In 1978, he relocated to Richland, WA, where he worked as a laboratory technician for Westinghouse Hanford Company. In 1981, he accepted a position as assistant engineer in the field engineering department of the Howard P. Foley Company at the Washington Nuclear Plant Number One. In 1985, he accepted employment with the Supply System as an Equipment Operator Trainee at the Hanford Generating Plant in Richland, WA.


Jon was relocated to Hermiston, OR, in 1995 to work for the Union Pacific Railroad as a safety and training Coordinator/Locomotive Electrician. In 2000, he relocated to West Richland where he went to work at Flour Hanford as a Planner Scheduler.


Jon is survived by his Loving Wife Patricia, Mother Faye, Sister Anne, Brothers Gary and Bruce, Children Jessica, Lynette, Jon, James and Lynsie, and his 10 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father Andrew Landen and Brother Craig Landen.
