Louis W. Thurston, age 73, of New Durham, NH, died unexpectedly from complications of COVID at Frisbie Memorial Hospital on December 2nd, 2020. He passed on while being comforted by his step-daughter Kelly Higinson, and his granddaughters Alyssa Rodriguez, Courtney Perry, and Lindsey Perry.
Lou was born in June of 1947 and had lived in his home in New Durham, NH since 2002. Lou loved his cars, and even though he wasn’t able to work on them like he used to he loved teaching his friends everything he knew. Lou loved camping with his wife Susie at their seasonal campsite. Most importantly Louis loved his family deeply, and his ultimate favorite pastime was spending time with them.
Louis is survived by his mother Dorothy VonFricken (New Hampshire); his brother Donald Thurston (Virginia); his step-children Kim Villanueve (Kentucky), Kelly Higinson (New York), and Chet Simpson (New York); his grandchildren Alyssa & Jae Rodriguez (Texas), Courtney Perry (New York), Lindsey Perry (New Hampshire), Jacqulyn Thurston (Virginia), and Mandie Thurston (Virginia); and his great grandchildren Hope Thurston (Virginia), Trinity Rines ( New Hampshire), and Lorelai Rodriguez (Texas).
Louis is preceded in death by his father; his beautiful wife Susie; his late wife Prudi; and his children Karen Thurston, Mark Thurston, and Kris Tedeman.
