I am so saddened to hear about the loss of your daughter. It caused me reflect on a conversation, Karen, that we had during a business trip a few years ago, and I remember at the time being very moved by your obvious love, caring, and devotion in helping Louise meet so many challenges. She was very fortunate to have you in her life, and I am certain that she gave you much in return.

Les - so truly sorry to hear the sad news about Louise. Many years ago when we were working together on our AAJA National Convention in MN, I was truly impressed with your dedication and devotion to your daughter's health and well-being. Truly, you and your wife were remarkable parents in so many ways. You gave so much to her, and it is clear she gave back so much to you, your family, friends and community. I will keep you & your family in thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Louise's passing. I met her during her time in Belliare Elementary school in White Bear Lake. Although she was gone alot due to illness when she was there it was always with her huge smile. She also had the softest skin. Diane did a great job of taking care of her and keeping her spirits up. My nickname for her was Weezie...she was a joy.
