Lovina Creeger

Lovina Creeger, 100, of Bluffton died at 1:02 am October 24, 2011 at Richland Manor, Bluffton. She was born December 4, 1910 in West Independence to David and Bertha Rainey Fruth. In September of 1929 she married W.E. Creeger and he preceded her in death in July of 1985. Mrs. Creeger was a homemaker. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton where she had taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women's Guild. She was also a member of the Bluffton Senior Citizens and had been a member of the Farm Bureau and the Orange Township Grange. Lovina loved to bake, garden and crochet. Survivors include two grandsons, Jeff (Shelley) Creeger of Lima and Loren (Robin) Creeger of Bluffton, two granddaughters, Beth McClelland of Findlay and Debra Creeger of Lima, ten great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Loretta Creeger of Lima and a sister-in-law, Celesta Wade of Bascom. She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry D. and William R. Creeger and two brothers, Roscoe and Dorman Fruth. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Thursday at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton. Rev. Eric Rummel will officiate. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria at 3 pm Thursday. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel United Church of Christ or Bluffton Senior Citizens Center.
