Lucas Armijo Trujillo

Lucas A. Trujillo, 86, of Phoenix, AZ and formerly of Socorro, NM died peacefully in his home on December 20, 2017. Lucas A. Trujillo was born on September 1, 1931 in Socorro, NM to Carlotta Armijo Trujillo and Luis Trujillo. He is preceded in death by his wife Belia C. Trujillo, his mom and dad, brother; Mike Trujillo, sisters; Luisita Romero and Elvida Montano. Loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, is survived by his sons; Lou Trujillo (Laura) of Goodyear, AZ., Lee Trujillo (Chuck Williams) of Leadville, CO., daughters; Dorothy Trujillo (Kristen Alley) of Mesa, AZ., and Bernadette Trujillo-Fish (Mike) of Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ., Grandchildren; Bryan Trujillo (Marie) of Goodyear, AZ, Salena Meyer Loredo (Rome) of Los Angeles, CA., and Alejandro Sanchez of Mesa, AZ., and three great grandchildren; Nicholas, Alyssa and Justin Trujillo, all of Goodyear, AZ., and many nieces and nephews.
Our dad grew up in Socorro, NM and graduated from Socorro High School. All our lives we enjoyed hearing stories of his adventures growing up in Socorro, NM and how hard they had to work each day. Our dad was retired from the US Postal Service and was involved in the National Guard. Our father enjoyed traveling with our mom, dancing and visiting with friends. They were both members of San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro NM. Dad was a kind and gentle person who loved his family unconditionally. He will be greatly missed, but we know we will see him again…..
Services will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 with the viewing at 9:00am, Rosary at 10:00am and Funeral Mass at 11:00am. St. Agnes Catholic Church is located at 1954 N. 24th Street, Phoenix, AZ.
