Lucia Reyes Obituary

REYES, LUCIA RAZON, in Redwood City on September 27, 2001, at the age of 95. Born August 25, 1906 in Manila, Philippines, she has been a San Mateo County resident for 15 years. Mrs. Reyes was an elementary school teacher in Manila for 30 years and was an avid reader. She is survived by her sons, Guillermo and his wife, Loida Reyes of Hayward, CA, and Nelson Reyes of Redwood City; daughter, Norma Reyes of Redwood City, and daughter-in-law, Annie of Redwood City. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Allan, Cristina, Johann, Anthony, and Je Anne; and two great-grandchildren, Elise, and Emily. She was preceded in death in 1990 by her husband of 55 years, Geronimo de los Reyes. Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, 12-8pm. A Prayer Vigil will take place on Sunday, at 7:00pm. Her funeral mass will take place on Monday, October 1, 2001 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Redwood City. She will rest at the Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo. Arrangements are under the direction of the Woodside Chapel of Crippen and Flynn.
