Godspeed Luce. I remember our time in NYCDOP, particularly working on the Briefing Document. You were a terrific writer and a wonderful wit. Bless you for that.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of such a talented and respected man. My prayers are for his family and friends he leaves behind. I would love to think one day there will be a joyous reunion of spirit.

Luce, I still haven't come to terms with the fact that you're gone, I still keep expecting to get messages from you with words of wisdom for me about acting. We bonded over our love of acting, especially the theatre. Me across the water in Liverpool and you there in New York. You become like another big brother to me, and for that I thank you so much. Over the years I learnt so much from you. You taught me not to just accept things, but question things and people. You were my friend and at times, my teacher. I always hoped to fly over and meet up with you, but sadly your failing health would not allow this. Although we only spoke via Facebook we came to know each other so well. I will miss you forever my other big brother, and I miss you not being there to give me advice.
Rest easy now my friend and I will see you one day on the other side. Then, we can chat away till our hearts content.

I worked with Luc at the Ritz club. He was warm and fun and he was the best part of that job.

Gueri and I, along with our friend Ric, shared a friendship that lasted over 50 years. He was the sweetest, kindest, funniest guy and always intimidated me because he was so brilliant. My deepest condolences to his family. He will always be remembered.

Among the kindest, smartest, and most noble people I knew during my high school years. We hadn't been in touch since then, though it is no surprise that he was at Ground Zero during 9/11 fighting for all of us. He was from Silver Lake, I from downtown. He found joy in football, I in soccer. He was a big tall guy, I smaller and shorter. Such things helped both of us, I think, understand that differences don't make a difference. Your influences on me during our high school years, Gary, seemed subtle then and seem profound now. Much love, Gary, and thank you.

Since 1973 when I met Luciano as a freshman at the University of Rochester, he has been like a brother to me through many shared times , travels and conversations. When we both lived in New York City he was a touchstone. I'll always cherish his presence in my life as a raconteur and caring presence.
