News Death Notice
CARTER, Lucille 93, went home to be our Lord on January 11, 2014. She was born January 12, 1920 the daughter of Emma & Cyrus Price. Lucille is survived by three daughters, Annette (Bruce) Evans, Lenore (Truman) Carter, Greta Carter, five sons, special son, Roger Channels, Lawrence Carter Jr., William (Carol) Channels Venice, California, Michael (Bernice) Carter, Hopkinsville, Kentucky Jeffrey (Rachel) Carter Fayetteville, North Carolina. Two special grandchildren, Tasha and Corey Carter, sixteen grandchildren, forty-two great-grand children, two brother-in-laws, one sister in-law, special nieces, great nieces and nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother, sister in-law, sister, daughter, grandson, nephew and niece. Services for Lucille Carter will be held on Saturday January 18, 2014 at Porter-Qualls-Dunlap Funeral Home 823 South Yellow Springs Street Springfield, Ohio. Visitation will be 9:00am until time of service which will be at 10:00am with Reverend Dr. John E. Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Porter-Qualls-Dunlap Funeral Home.
