Judy, I am sorry to learn of your mother's passing. I have a lot of fun memories of her when I was young. And most of those were of her in the kitchen. God bless you and your family. Della Coen Yocum Lipe.

Jerry and Elizabeth and Judy and Bill and other family members, you are all in our thoughts and prayers . The Eubanks family is very special to us and Lucille was a very wonderful Christian lady who was such a great example of how to live a Christlike life . We have wonderful memories of her from the Midland Heights days and I will always cherish the wonderful visits I had with her at Methodist. May the Holy Spitit grant you peace and comfort.
The Afghan........from Lucille Eubanks

I will always remember Lucille and her very special gift to me..............the Afghan...............It is probably the most special thing that I ever received because I know it was given from the heart with so much love. The Afghan made a complete circle before it found it's owner. The afghan was made for me by Lucille's mother when my daughter was born 28 years earlier. Lucille's mother did not know me personally but because of a weekly newspaper article I wrote many years ago, that she followed, when she found out I was pregnant, she made me an afghan and asked Lucille to give it to me. Lucille did not know me either, but promised her mother that she would. For many years the Afghan was stored away in a cedar chest. When Lucille's son, Jerry became pastor of the Cecil Methodist Church, the church I attended, he met me, and we made the connection that I was the one the afghan had been made for. Even though the baby who was to receive the afghan was now 28 years old, she had anew little boy only a couple months old. The Afghan was presented to me in church one day, along with Misti, the original receiver and her son Griffin who is lying in the beautiful piece of work from Lucille's mother. I will never forget this connection to Lucille. My love and prayers to Brother Jerry, Elizabeth and the entire family on the loss of Lucille, she was so blessed to have such a dear family, as you all are overly blessed to have Lucille for a "mother".................Our Love, Lynda and Bill Molton
