I met Lucille only once when Sr. Barb and I went shopping with her for a winter coat. She was so delightful to meet and her attitude was so positive. She wanted a black coat and we found one that was just right but she kept wondering if it wasn't really a very dark brown. We assured her it was black as it truly appeared to be. It needed a button sewn on so I took it home with me and when I was working on it I read on one of the many tags that the color was "black espresso" which surely meant there was a little bit of brown in the dye. She was right! I hope she will forgive us.
It was a privilege to spend a little time with her. She had so much joy to share. May God receive her with open arms and may God bless all of her friends and family.
Sincerely,
Jenenne Guffey

My Friend Lucille meant the world to me! She had so many lovely stories to tell and I listened very carefully to each one. We shared so many great times together and we had a few road trips too! I will miss you Lucille! All my love to you in heaven. See you when I earn my wings,
Ellen
