LUCILLE ELAINE MANNELLY  "Loving Life"  
On Sunday, August 6, 2017, Lucille Elaine Mannelly, the beloved wife of late John "Jack" Francis Mannelly, passed away peacefully. Lucille was born in Los Angeles, CA and was the daughter of Congressman Gordon L. McDonough and Catherine McNeil McDonough. The youngest of seven siblings, she leaves her brother, Vincent McDonough (Dorothy) and was predeceased by Gordon, Paul, Thomas, Marie and James. She was the devoted mother of Michael McDonough Mannelly (deceased), John Francis Mannelly, Jr. (Karyl), Kathleen Lagerlof, Sarah Funt (Andy), Mary Anne Besche, and the loving grandmother of Joseph Lagerlof, John Mannelly, III, Jaquelin Dioguardi, Paul Mannelly, Philip Mannelly, John Besche, and Colleen Besche and four great grandchildren. Lucille worked for Chevy Chase Land Company for 21 years, enjoyed 30 wonderful years of sobriety, and lived fully through her strong gift of faith. The family will receive friends at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Redeemer Church, 9705 Summit Avenue, Kensington, MD on Friday, August 18 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
