LUCILLE McDERMOTT Obituary
Age 92, of Monroeville, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Ronald F. McDermott; loving mother of Michael (Christine), David (Mary Anne), Daniel (Joanne), Mary Kay (Andy) Nigut and Patrick (Sandra) McDermott. She was the adored and proud grandmother of Bryan, Kevin, Jeffrey, Amie, Tom, Megan, Kristin, Lauren, Erin, Jim, Michael and the late Meredith. She cherished her great- grandchildren, Delaney, Fiona, Luke, Jack, Nathan, Evelyn, Drew, Becca, Shay, Liam, Henry, William, Eleanor, Abagail, Charlie, Addyson, Mason and Fletcher. She is also survived by her sister, Lorraine Barron. Lucille loved life and cherished her family. She also enjoyed playing golf. Friends will be received on Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at North American Martyrs Church with Father Joseph Luisi as celebrant. Interment following in Good Shepherd Cemetery. My deepest condolences to Lucille's loving and attentive family. She was a breath of fresh air - always positive, upbeat, friendly, and above all, happy! Lucille, with " 3 'ells' and 2 'tees' " has left a lasting impression on me - I absolutely adored her!

Lucille was part of our birthday celebration group: ladies who golfed at Willowbrook and gathered to celebrate their "special" birthdays. She always brought the largest smile, laughter and happiness to our luncheons. Lucille was always that bright spot, and she will be missed.
