Lucille E. Soulé

Lucille E. Soul�' (nee Audet), 86, of San Diego, California, passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 8, 2023. She was born on December 11, 1936, in Swansea, Massachusetts.

Lucille was a beautiful, remarkable woman; a loving daughter and sister; a beloved wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother; and an amazing artist, musician, baker/cook, quilter, and writer. She lived life in color.

Lucille cherished her family and took joy in sending birthday greetings and holiday cards to family and friends cherished over a lifetime. She eagerly anticipated Christmas each year, starting her card and gift preparations early so she could maintain the holiday spirit throughout the year.

She is survived by her sisters, Carmel and Maureen, her seven children: Linda, Paul, Chris, Mary, Maureen, Jeanne, and Jeri, her eight grandchildren: David, Dan, Cailean, Devon, Logan, Veronica, Megan, and Jack Henry, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, and her first great-grandchild on the way, as well as relatives on her husband's side of the family.

Lucille was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Soul�, her parents, Omer and Lillian Audet, her brother Ray, and her sister Pauline.

A memorial service to celebrate Lucille's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on December 1, 2023, at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, CA, with reception following.

Lucille will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory and the love she shared with her family and friends will forever remain in their hearts.
