Lucy May Manasco Rhodes, age 86, of Vandervoort, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at her home. She was born May 1, 1923 in Galena, Arkansas to the late Walter Jackson Manasco and the late Essie Marie Duncan Manasco. She was a timber worker by profession and a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Survivors are: Sons: William Luther Rhodes, Jr. of Vandervoort, Arkansas Jerry David 'Buster' Rhodes of Cove, Arkansas Daughter: Betty Watkins of Vandervoort, Arkansas Grandchildren: Dale Dewayne Rhodes of Vandervoort, Arkansas Jennifer Rhodes Clausen of Colorado Springs, Colorado Mark Hutson of Vandervoort, Arkansas Jimmy Hutson of Cove, Arkansas Dylan Rhodes of Cove, Arkansas Harold Alley, currently stationed in Afghanistan serving in the U.S. Military Great Grandchildren: Victoria, Samantha, Tyler and Caleb Clausen Anthony and BreAnna Hutson Ty, Trevor and Taylor Johnson Dale and Alex Rhodes She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Essie Manasco, her son, Dale Dwayne Rhodes, Sr., her daughter, Mary Louise Rhodes, her grandson, Bradley William Rhodes and a granddaughter, Tammy Michelle Rhodes Johnson. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Vandervoort with Brother Donnie Jewell and Leon Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Witherspoon Cemetery in Vandervoort under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, October 2, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Pallbeaers will be Dale Dwayne Rhodes, Jr., Dale Dwayne Rhodes, III, Alex Rhodes, Mark Hutson, Jimmy Hutson, Jason Randall, Grady Sherwood, Jr., and Larry Manasco. Honorary pallearers will be Hilton Bell, Don Ashcraft, Harold Alley, Anthony Hutson, Ty Johnson, and
